Like a bird in the open sky,
no ground, no fear below.

I move like a cat in the evening,
soft on the floor.
I breathe like a fish in the water,
always wanting more.

I hide like a deer in the silence,
heart beating fast.
I rest like a snake in the sunlight,
letting moments pass.

Every instinct pulls me closer,
every sound feels true.
In the stillness of the night,
I’m breaking through.

I float, I fall, I rise.
Like a spark inside the dark,
I open my eyes.

Like a wolf in the distance,
calling your name.
I’m wild, I’m calm,
I’m not the same.

I wait like an owl in the midnight,
watching it all.
I run like a horse through the open,
answering the call.

I trust like a dog in the doorway,
faith in your hands.
I drift like a jellyfish dreaming,
slow shifting plans.
